I am originally from Liverpool in the UK and I am a self taught artist (although I did do a one year pre-diploma course at Liverpool Art College when I was 18).
I left Liverpool to spend a couple of months in Japan and ended up staying seventeen years before finally coming to S. W. France five years ago (to become a full time artist).

One of my paintings is now shown on a new line of fine detail canvas for Winsor and Newton in the UK.
I was feaured in a two page advertisemet in the April 2010 issue of The Artist's Magazine for Blick art supplies in the USA.

One of my paintings was in American Art collector magazine, October 2010.
